Dear Million Dollar Band Alumni:

I hope you are having a great summer and are looking forward to another exciting season of Crimson Tide Football.  The university band office is busy planning for the 94th edition of The Million Dollar Band.  The entire staff has been on the recruiting trail since the end of last season, and we have gathered a large and talented group of new members.  The Million Dollar Band Association Scholarship Program has enabled us to attract some of the finest musicians in the southeast.  For the upcoming 2007 season, over 50 members of the band will receive scholarships funded by the MDBA.  Your hard work and financial assistance are very important in maintaining The Million Dollar Band’s tradition of excellence.

This year’s Alumni Band event will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Alabama vs. Houston football game.  With the tremendous excitement surrounding Crimson Tide Football this season, tickets are in high demand for each game.  Because of this high demand, we need your ticket orders to reach the Band Office by 4:45 p.m. on Friday August 24, 2007.  There can be no exceptions to this deadline.  Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis until our allotment is depleted. 

Please make every effort to join us on October 6th. It should be a wonderful event!
